Curt Hastings
Who's on first!
Curt Hastings came to KRDO five years ago and has worked as the Sunday morning announcer almost since he arrived. He is probably the biggest sports fan of the group, although Dean and Shawnee give him a run for the money. You might recognize his voice from the race announcer at the Rocky Mountain Greyhound Park where Curt has worked for the past eight years. Curt is the “Here Comes Rocky” voice.
Raised in Minnesota, curt is almost always in a Viking jersey when the dress code calls for football loyalty. He graduated in 1991 from the University of Colorado and also can be heard yelling “Go Buffs” down the hallway.
Curt spends most of his Saturdays in the fall, announcing High School football games with his broadcasting partner, Kyle “The News Guy” Troxel. “It is a challenge everyday to be creative and compete on that level with these people … There are some very talented folks in this building which makes it fun to come to work every day,” said Curt.
