Brian Kulis

The New Morning Show Host

Hello! I am Brian Kulis, the new morning guy here at The Peak.. I really look forward to meeting you in person soon! If you have any suggestions for the morning show , please contact me. Mark and I want to make this the best radio morning show in Colorado!
To describe me, I am part Nicholas Cage in the movie "The Family man" (the second half when he has children!) and part Mel Gibson in the "Road Warrior".
I grew up in the great city of Phoenix Arizona, enjoying mountain biking, swimming and frying eggs on the sidewalk! I enjoyed GI-Joes, Whiffle Ball and Indian Guides…I loved watching Gilligans Island. Later, My Dad was transferred to Dallas where I went to High School and attended The University of North Texas. I got my first start in radio in Dallas and was fortunate to work with The Dallas Cowboy's. Yes I did date a Dallas Cowboy's cheerleader for a while but ended up marrying a much prettier and definently more intelligent girl from Arkansas.
Trivia note: In the parachute pant and spiked hair days of the late 80's, I was lead singer of a band called "The Affordables"
After Dallas, My wife and I moved back to Phoenix where I worked in SportsRadio. I enjoyed covering The Phoenix Suns and the very dismal Arizona Cardinals. Now older, I realized that I didn't enjoy the heat as much as I used to, so my family packed up and moved to Denver. In Denver, I worked at Kool 105 radio and also did some Marketing for the casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado. Presently, we just bought a house in Cripple Creek with plans to build our "dream house" on some other acreage in 2 years. We love the mountains and want to raise our children in this incredible area of the country. As for my kids, my boy is 7 and my daughter is 4. Outside of radio, you will find me hiking (my new found hobby is searching for old aircraft wrecks in the mountains) spending time with the family, going to church functions and exploring ghost towns in my Jeep. By the way, I still like to watch Gilligan's Island!!!

ps: When I get out of line, just remember that I was dropped on my head at an early age!

Sincerely, Brian Kulis

Mark Goldberg

Mark Goldberg

This is the naked truth about Mark

Mark has found one great truth in this world…Wine is life…and barring a good glass of wine, a good Whine will do the trick. It’s the cumulative knowledge of 40-something years that has lead him to this conclusion.

You see, Mark’s first influences are from California (Northern at that) where he lived most of his formative years. He was actually born in Reno, Nevada (where the joke goes that his dad gambled and lost)…but the family moved to Modesto, California when he was only 10-months old.

His first breakaway from home and into Radio came when he went to San Jose State University. During his study of Broadcast Journalism, he got his first job…and some 20-years later, and many, many stations along the way, he ended up still in Radio, attached to Dean Radice.

Actually, Radio is a job that lets Mark share his true passions: Playing with his daughter Colby, Wife Sharon, and lots of mountain biking. Backcountry skiing occupies much of his Winter fun. Fine wines and gourmet meals are also high on his adult lust list.
